RootyCarry less. Create more.

Our industry has been sold a lie.

That you have to become a content creator to stay booked. You don't!

Rooty is the warm companion that helps you get found, keep your clients close, and carry the day with you. Without becoming an influencer.

Meet Rooty, the onboarding screen

Being great behind the chair used to be enough.

Then the message changed. Do more, post more, become a content creator, or watch your chair go quiet. Being great at hair stopped being the job. Being seen became the job.

But being seen was never supposed to mean becoming an influencer. And here's what no one says out loud: not everyone is meant to be one, and that is completely okay. Wanting to do great hair instead of performing it doesn't make you bad at business.

You're a stylist who knows what they want. And staying booked was never supposed to cost you that.

You already have everything you need.

Your craft. Your clients. You don't need to become an influencer. You just need to be seen for the work you already do.

It's time to take your time back.

Grow your business. Carry less doing it.

Three of the things Rooty does with you, so getting seen and keeping your clients doesn't cost you your time.

And this is just the start. There's more waiting inside.

For seven years, I was an educator for one of the top color brands behind the chair.

The whole time, the push to become an influencer only grew louder, and I watched so many of us drowning in it. But nobody would say it out loud, because of what that would mean for us as educators. Maybe it was my neurodivergence screaming at me, but in one of my training classes, I asked anyway: how am I supposed to be a wife, a mother, and a business owner, and still find forty more hours a week to film, edit, caption, and master every platform, on top of the forty I already spend behind the chair?

The answer was heartbreaking. I was told to shrink the things that mattered most to make room for more, my three biggest things broken into many smaller ones of "equal importance." And if I couldn't, it meant I just didn't want it bad enough.

And it was never for lack of trying. I came to understand that my brain simply isn't designed for that kind of grind.

But one thing never changed: my skill, and my ability to adapt. I have spent my whole life adapting to a neurotypical world, and this was not going to be the problem that took me out.

So I adapted. I taught myself AI, and used it to find ways to grow my business that didn't mean giving in to the content grind. What I learned became Rooty.

But those words still ring in my ears every time I scroll past another one of those videos, an independent educator or salon owner insisting stylists are lazy, that they don't work hard anymore, that they want everything handed to them, that maybe they chose the wrong career, and that all of it would turn around the moment they bought the program. You've seen those videos too. So if any of that has ever made you feel like the problem, hear me:

You're not lazy. You didn't choose wrong.

So whether you're just starting to grow, or you're in burnout or overwhelm, Rooty can hold it with you. 🌱
